There are herbs and herbal
There are herbs and herbal mixtures that help with the withdrawal symptoms of new non-smokers. These mixtures include Lobelia, St. John’s Wort and Black Cohosh, among others. These herbs tend to be relaxing and work on the nervous system. They are often dried and made into teas, but some are also ingested. You never want to smoke these herbs.
If you’d like to try these or other herbs to deal with the withdrawal symptoms, be sure to ask your doctor first. Herbs may be natural, but they can have side effects just like drugs, and they often interfere with other prescription drugs as well. Also consider seeking the advice of a trained herbalist. They will often have more information about herbs than a traditional doctor.
