When The Cravings Hit…Clean

This little tip is great for those smokers who also happen to be “neat freaks”. For the many of you that are out there, using cleaning as a way of coping with the cravings is a very good and very useful tool in the process of your quitting smoking. If that craving starts to hit, just go grab yourself a broom and start sweeping. Sweep anywhere and everywhere that you can sweep. If you get finished with sweeping, go ahead and start on dusting or vacuuming. Do anything you can to clean and get your mind completely off of smoking a cigarette. You will actually accomplish a lot when it comes to using cleaning as a form of control over smoking. You end up with a very clean house. Which automatically means that you have no stress over that, and no stress over that means that you will not be tempted to go straight to smoking a cigarette.
