Give “Water Therapy” A Try

Don’t worry, there is nothing that will require you to go swimming. Water therapy is used as a way to fight those nasty cravings that constantly come back. Water is a great, natural way to suppress the cravings of a cigarette. It works much like it does for people who try to suppress cravings for food.

Basically, water therapy involves you practicing drinking water instead of smoking a cigarette. In counseling sessions, some will actually have you use this therapy right in front of them. This method of treatment is not just for those who are in the process of quitting, it is also for those who have stopped smoking and may still have a few cravings here and there.

Also, if you have stopped smoking, but had a slight relapse, don’t worry. All you have to do is drink about four cups of water to get rid of the toxic effects of the cigarette.
