After You Quit
Practice Your Deep Breathing
A great way to relieve some of the stress of trying to quit smoking is to use an exercise called “deep breathing”. This is basically when you inhale all the air that you possibly can and then you, very slowly, exhale all the air back out. The key things to remember to do is, while exhaling, you need to have your eyes closed and visualize all of the stress and negativity leaving your body. Concentrating on this will help you to see that you, yourself, can make the problem leave your. You are strong and your willpower is incredible enough to get rid of all the bad things that surround your smoking addiction. If there is any time that you feel extremely stressed and tempted to smoke, just remember this breathing exercise and repeat about 4 to 6 times. The breathing is a much better way to get rid of the cravings instead of trying to do it alone without any kind of help.
