Quit Smoking Mood - Many Moods of Quitting

When you are preparing yourself to quit smoking, you should be aware of some of the things that you might experience. Your moods are going to be a bit crazy throughout the whole process.

Remember, your body, as well as your mind, are both going through this together. You need to mentally prepare yourself for all the mood swings, and especially all the cravings. Denial is often the first mental examination you give yourself. Once you admit to that, it is all downhill from there. More than likely you will soon experience anger.

Remember that during this time you have achieved a lot and it is worth keeping yourself focused on the future and being “smoke free”. Once the anger has passed, depression usually takes over. Do not worry, just keep your mindset the same as when you were going through the “anger” stage and you will be just fine.
