Go to People - Part 2

Good go to people can be hard to spot. However once you have found a few close friends you can share your struggles with, you have a support system for when you are at your weakest. What we should do is have a go to person that can supply the needed motivation or comfort depending on the situation. The best types of go to people include:

• The Positive Person – The positive person will not only cheer you when you are feeling weak, they will also help you forgive yourself when you slip. The positive person is great to have around when you’re down because they can literally change the mood.

• The Truthful Person – This type of person is great for when you are ready to talk yourself into a smoke. These people are not afraid of telling you something that will hurt your feelings if it is what you need to hear.

• The Supportive Person – This person will be by your side no matter how many times you slip up. This person is great for when you are feeling like you will never succeed.

• The Dependable Person – No matter when you call, day or night, this person is ready to help. You can trust them when they say they’ll be there. You can also trust them to keep your personal life, well, personal.

Knowing that you have a go to person that will hold conversations in confidence, gives you positive feedback and is completely honest with you, makes quitting easier. Now go get quit!
