Out of the total number of these poisonous substances, there are at least 69 of which are identified to cause cancer.
The most notorious of these chemicals include:
1. Formaldehyde – which is a fluid used for embalming to preserve dead bodies.
2. Tar – deposited in the lungs and destroy the alveoli and bronchioles of each lung thereby hindering the process of breathing.
3. Benzene – a petrol additive which is a known carcinogen and has been linked to leukemia.
4. Arsenic – usually a component of rat poison
5. Nicotine – an addictive substance which is attributed to the development of addiction to smoking
6. Carbon monoxide – an odorless gas which comes out of an exhaust of a car and becomes rapidly fatal in large amounts.
7. Hydrogen Cyanide – the gas which was used in gas chambers to poison prisoners.
