Breast Cancer and Smoking
There are a lot of people that have no clue that there is a link between breast cancer and smoking, but the link really is there. I know some may think that smoking is harmless; it’s just a little bit of fun, but this is not true. While you may find it fun and exciting, others find it to be a harsh reality that they want and “need” to change. Breast cancer is the leading problem among female smokers. All the toxic chemicals contained within cigarettes have a very harmful effect on a person’s longs. It can cause the lungs to become inflamed, and they can even start to become brittle from the smoke inhalation. Inhaling the smoke from a cigarette has some of the same effects of inhaling smoke from a fire. You can literally burn your lungs, but because the cigarettes contain so many harmful chemicals, the cigarettes can lead to the formation of breast cancer.
